The order system is an easy four step process (see sidebar on the right), and you will see exactly how much each marriage certificate is going to cost, and you will be able to edit each item before you complete and pay for the order. There are no hidden items. The only changes to charges shown on the order system are made if an incorrect search is ordered, or if a change to the order is made after it has been submitted to our system. The report will be sent to you by fax or email. You may have to download a copy of Acrobat Reader to view the report.

Note: We do NOT issue MARRIAGE LICENSES for people who wish to GET married. Only the state or county in which the marriage is to take place can do that. We provide marriage certificate records for marriages that have already taken place.

Marriage Certificates can generally be obtained within 10 business days, depending on the state and county. Older records, or documents that have been placed in archived storage, WILL take longer to access. This is beyond our control, and varies from state to state, courthouse to courthouse, and county to county.

The Marriage Certificate (the actual record of proof of marriage) will have been filed in the same court house where the original Marriage License ("permission to marry") was issued. Sometimes this can be different from the location where the actual ceremony was held. More...
                     
Please Note: We charge a fee for each LOCATION that we search. A search request that comes back as "no record found" will not be credited back UNLESS it is clearly our mistake that the wrong location was searched. If we have made the error then your money will be refunded cheerfully with our apologies.

1. THE MARRIAGE CEREMONY

Enter the full name of the bride and groom. Brides Maiden name as well (if known).
Give the date of the nuptials, as accurately as you can.
Specify the state and city where the marriage license was issued (if possible. Learn More...
2. BILLING INFORMATION
Enter your credit card information.
Enter the name on the card as it appears
And card type, number and expiration date
For security purposes you will also need to enter the card billing address
3. CONTACT INFORMATION
Enter your contact information so that we can return the results of your search to you. An e-mail address is required. This is so that we can send order confirmation notices, updates and status reports directly to you
A telephone number is useful, but not required. It is simply useful if any questions arise regarding your order during processing
We will send you an email notifying you of the receipt of your order, and the approximate turnaround time.
4. SUBMIT YOUR ORDER!
Press Submit and we'll take it from there! Your request will be entered into our computer system immediately, and you will receive an acknowledgement of your order by email. Our average client can complete this ordering process in 10 minutes or less!

Marriage Records from All 50 US States
**  We offer access to Marriage Certificates and Marriage Records for ALL 50 US states, EXCEPT New York State (including New York City), and the District of Columbia. We CAN provide New York marriage records, but both New York state and New York city require that you mail in a notarized letter authorizing us to obtain records on your behalf. Contact the NY State Department of Vital Records directly at 1.877.854.4481 for more information. The District of Columbia will not release marriage records to third party vendors, so you will have to contact them directly.
        
*** This is the lowest currently advertised price on this web site. We try to keep these published prices updated, but the states and counties can, and do change their prices and turnaround times frequently. Turnaround times for copies of marriage certificates vary widely from state to state and from county to county. rush orders - We may be able to provide rush orders for an extra fee. Please email us for rush orders as we will have to check availability with the researcher who is located in that state.
